The properties of a material that can withstand various processes.
Casting properties: refers to some technological properties whether the metal or alloy is suitable for casting, mainly including flow properties and mold filling capacity; Shrinkage, the ability of casting volume shrinkage during solidification; Segregation refers to chemical heterogeneity.
Welding performance: refers to the characteristic that two or more metal materials are welded together through heating or heating and pressure welding, and the interface can meet the purpose of use.
Headgas performance: refers to the ability of the metal material to withstand crushing without fracture.
Cold bending performance: refers to the metal material at room temperature can withstand bending without fracture performance. The bending degree is usually expressed by the ratio of bending Angle alpha (outer Angle) or centroid diameter d to material thickness a. The larger a or d/a is, the better the material's cold bending ability is.
Stamping performance: the ability of metal material to withstand stamping deformation without cracking. Stamping at room temperature is called cold stamping. The inspection method is tested by the cup process test.
Forging performance: the ability of metal material to withstand plastic deformation without fracture during forging and pressing.
Chemical properties
Refers to the resistance of metal material to chemical or electrochemical reaction when sweeping with surrounding medium.
Corrosion resistance: refers to the ability of metal materials to resist the erosion of various media.
Oxidation resistance: the ability of metal materials to resist the formation of oxide skin at high temperature.
